Project Manager - Glass bottling lines export

Your tasks
- Responsible for managing technical projects for a key account based overseas
- Depending on the project acting as Maintenance Manager, Retrofit Installation Manager or Line Performance Manager
- Preparation, planning and organisation of regular meetings with the key account as well as inspection visits on the sites
- Revision, approval of and communication on the inspection reports with the decision-making unit of the key account
- Preparation, planning, coordination of and communication on annual overhauls in collaboration with the key account
- Drawing up budget offers and installation schedules for new retrofits;
- Follow-up of deliveries to sites, organisation of installations (planning, resources), monitoring of installation tools, etc.
- Escalation management for any delivery, quality or other problems directly related to the installation of retrofits.
- Supporting the development of retrofit activities and sharing best practice within internal teams to ensure continuous improvement of our services
- Analysing the performance of production lines, proposing and following up (corrective) action plans to improve the production line efficiency, in close cooperation with the teams of technicians on site
- Activity reporting online performance KPI’s to both the key account as to mother company.
- Acting as SPOC for the key account
- Managing budgeting and reporting to the key account and it’s decision-making unit in Geneva
- Ensuring all information related to the projects is traceable in SAP
- Setting up regular contacts with the key account in order to report on (progress of) the different projects, to build trust and to enhance client satisfaction
- Visiting regularly the key account’s factories to analyse the situation first-hand and to create trust and build relationships
Exigences
Your profile
- You are an industrial or electromechanical engineer with at least 5 to 10 years of experience in technical (project) management in a (glass) bottling environment
- You must speak and write fluently French and English. Knowledge of German would be a plus
- You are willing to travel between 30 & 50 % of your time, intercontinentally. Ideally you have experience in working with eg African countries and / or an affinity with the local culture
- Knowledge of SAP, Power BI, SalesForce is a plus
- You are a good listener and communicate in a crystal-clear way (both in writing as when speaking) and you have the ability to express yourself in simple though concrete language which adds to ‘getting things done
- Apart from your technical experience on (glass) bottling lines, you are strong in project management, budgeting and reporting
- You are excelling in stakeholder management (within tje Company as well as within the client organisation) and strong in keeping the overview over the multiple projects running in parallel in different countries.
- You have an analytical mindset and are able to easily synthesize information
- You are very client and customer satisfaction oriented and proved in the past to be able to build and maintain strong and trusting relationships with large customers
